MACMILLAN employ and train every stylist to enable them to provide a unique, quality hairdressing experience for each and every client. Through their innovative techniques, MACMILLAN has attracted a huge celebrity client base that reads more like an award ceremony nomination list. Kené Franklin – Artistic Director

Kené Franklin, MACMILLAN Artistic Director is one of British Hairdressing’s brightest stars and is fast becoming one of our greatest exports. Kené began his career with the Vidal Sassoon Artistic Team and then moved to Trevor Sorbie’s International Creative Team as Artistic Director. In 1989 he joined forces with John Misfud to create MACMILLAN. Since then Kené’s charismatic personality and gift for presenting has allowed his profile on the national and international hairdressing circuit to go from strength to strength. He has created looks for key designers such as Antonio Berardi, Hussein Chalayan and Alexander McQueen on their international fashion collections in London, New York, Paris and Milan and has also made numerous television appearances in America on prime-time shows such as Ricki Lake, CNN and Jenny Jones, as well as countless live stage appearances from LA to New York. Closer to home Kené enjoys a high profile with both published and electronic media. He is a familiar face on BBC,ITV and Satallite networks and is no stranger to the glossy pages of leading magazines and newspapers.

 









- The Future

 

2001 brings a great deal of change for MACMILLAN. Building of their new state of the art concept salon and training academy in Central London is currently in progress and is due to open in August 2001. This will provide the perfect platform for MACMILLAN to continue developing their unique hairdressing philosophy and provide both clients and staff with revolutionary new facilities.
